Reviewed Garlic Cilantro Lime Rice

Nov 7, 2013 on

I'm sorry Ree! I absolutely love all your other recipes, but this one was not good. I halved the recipe...good thing, no one liked it and we threw out the rest. The lime was too overpowering and I only added 1 lime! The flavors of it all were off putting. I was hoping to have a recipe similar to Chipotle's cilantro lime rice. No Bueno.

Reviewed Best Yogurt Parfait Ever

OMG! Amazing recipe! I use the Fage plain Greek yogurt and non fat milk (maybe about 1/3 cup). I make this the night before I want it for breakfast. I do stir in the brown sugar and then add berries. We made it many times over the summer with different berries. Raspberries on their own made it too tart/tangy. A mixture of berries or sweeter...

WOW! This is the perfect summer dessert. The oven isn't on long enough for the whole house to get hot. My husband who doesn't enjoy rich desserts couldn't get enough. I love anything with chocolate and peanut butter. As Ree mentioned, it is rich so smaller slices are perfect."

Reviewed Sloppy Joes

Jul 20, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

Sloppy Joes is my husband's favorite food. I was looking for a great homemade recipe for a while without using those store bought packets. I've been following Ree's blog for several years and when she posted this Sloppy Joes recipe we've been hooked ever since! We love the flavor because it's a little bit sweet. I do leave out the red pepper f"

This is one of the easiest and tastiest bruschetta recipes I've ever made! I loved the flavors. I made it five hours before dinner and it was perfect. I paired it with garlic sourdough bread and I couldn't get enough."

Reviewed Chocolate Almond Brickle

Mar 27, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

One of the best candy recipes ever! I only use 2 cups of the almonds and use them all on the bottom of the cookie sheet. I also use semi-sweet chocolate chips. The mixture WILL get to 280, but the trick is to have very high heat; stirring occasionally, NOT constantly.

I have made it time and time again. It makes for a great teachers...

Reviewed Beef with Snow Peas

Mar 27, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

What a fabulous and easy recipe! I used asparagus instead of snow peas and my family loved it. I enjoyed the flavors of the sauce. The meat was so tender. I served it with a side of potstickers; what a great meal."

Reviewed Orange Marmalade

Fabulous! I made two batches already with some home grown Washington Navel Oranges. Reading one of the other reviews, I too used a food processor to cut the oranges. It worked like a charm, quick and easy. Thanks Alton."
