I made this for Christmas, skeptical of the ingredients. I have never cooked with fresh herbs or wine before. I tripled the ingredients (except for the garlic, I did about 5.5 cloves) because I used this recipe on a 11lb whole turkey. I also chose a lower grade wine, chardonay, because I just wasn't sure. I marinated the bird in all of the ingredients...

I made this for a crowd of "I will never anything new" type of people. I was asked to bring ham, and boy did I! They loved it! My mother has asked for the recipe to make it for Christmas, I made it for Thanksgiving. Great job, awesome flavor............it made the ham look pretty on the inside as well,nice color!!!
