Sorry, Jersey and Indiana, but Michigan tomatoes are the best! We look forward to this salad all year, and make it weekly, using basil from our garden. I've had great success with this recipe, even with a non-zucchini eating husband. Have substituted a small can of well-drained diced tomatoes for the fresh. Also, we like a crunch topping---either crushed butter crackers, or panko with a bit of melted butter. I agree that the left-overs are yummy.
