Reviewed Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies
"These were really dry. I used a triple-chocolate name-brand cake mix and a one-tablespoon scoop so I know I had uniform dough amounts. 12 minutes on the first pan was really dry, 10 minutes was a little better, 9 minutes was edible but not great. To me, they tasted like cookies from boxed cake mix. IF I ever tried them again, I would try boxed fudgie brownie mix, hoping for more moisture. Yield was about 50.
