"This recipe is great! I altered it a bit because I really dislike tomatoes and goat cheese. For the stuffing, I used fresh spinach instead of frozen, and I used feta cheese and mozzarella instead of goat cheese. I also omitted the tomatoes altogether. It was a huge hit with my family.
"I've made this cake for several birthday parties, and I even adapted it as a wedding cake. Overall, it has been a huge success! For the wedding cake, I tripled the recipe and put the coconut and nuts in the filling, rather than the icing. I got rave reviews for it and I even had someone try it out at an Italian restaurant and they claimed it was exactly like it.
This recipe is definitely a keeper and it will make you the star of your family or the party!

"I altered the recipe a bit after reading other reviews, and the cake turned out great! I used homemade self-rising flour, and added an additional 1/4 cup of milk and doubled the amount of vanilla. It probably could have taken an additional 1/2 cup of milk instead, but it was still great. I covered it with homemade chocolate cream cheese icing, and it was a hugh success.

"Absolutely horrible. I have been successfully cooking seafood for a long time, and I visit seafood restaurants along the gulf coast on a regular basis, and I have never encountered a seafood dish this bad. The problem was the dill, and I even cut the amount in half. My family is full of seafood eaters, and they wouldn't touch this. It was very expensive to make and the whole things was tossed out. I wouldn't recommend trying this, and if you do I'd at least cut the recipe in half.
I am currently a junior in college. I love cooking and anything food related. I would like to go to culinary school after I've graduated from college, so I'm constantly trying out new recipes and techniques.
