Reviewed Fresh Lemon Mousse

Jul 7, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

loved it! i've made it twice, first time with the lemon curd, and it was harder to incorporate it. i decided to leave it out the second time, and honestly i couldn't tell the difference. i made little individual ramikins of it, topped with whipped cream, crushed shortbread cookies, and raspberries. omg, soooo good!"

my kids and i LOVE this cake! however the frosting amount is WAAAAAYYY too much. i half the recipe for the frosting AND marshmallows and it's amazing. even when i did make the frosting recipe as written i found i couldn't bring myself to put that much on the cake, it simply overpowers it. do yourself a favor save some ingredients and half the fros"

AWESOME!! i knew the amount of red pepper would be too much for my liking so i decreased it by half and it is absolutely perfect! best sauce i've ever made. i used crushed tomatoes so i didn't have to blend at the end to make it easier. make it! you will love it! "

this turkey was just ok for me. i was expecting something wonderful, and i didn't get that. it didn't taste any better than my normal turkey, and i actually think my regular way tastes better. i do like the idea of cooking at 500 for a while first though, gives it a nice brown skin.

Reviewed Caramelized Onion Foccacia

Oct 16, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

as written this would be a salty disaster! i took a posters advice about the salt and only used 1 tbsp instead of 3 and it was still VERY salty. i could brush some off, and it tasted great then...but as written it's waaaay to salty. i love salt too, but this is just too much.""
