I grew up with very wholesome, meat-and-potatoes style meals here in northern MN. I now enjoy a variety of cuisine but my favorite styles are Italian and Asian (Thai and Vietnamese).
It's impractical for me to travel around the world; however, I feel that by preparing and eating foods from different regions, I feel connected. Nothing makes me happier than to taste new, unpredicted flavors.
I love to eat! That's why I love to cook.
