This is an awesome recipe. The wording in the instructions for the sauce is a little confusing, but the basic guidelines are spot on. Here is what I did:
1. Instead of thinking "syrup" think "wine reduction" simmer the wine, the thyme, garlic and shallots until the wine is reduced by 60-70%.
2. Remove all the solids from the...

I thought this was a pretty good. After I added the last ingredients (PB & honey) I thought it needed something...curry to the rescue! Was just perfect (I only used about 2 TB of PB however).

Delish! Per the other reviews, I added sherry (3 TB) after a few seconds in the food processor. No need for any cream or additional chicken stock afterward... it was perfect!

This recipe takes a ho hum, lowly pot pie and raises it to gourmet status. I use the base recipe with the following changes - I use about 1/4 cup more broth, I add PRUNES to the mix - I know - prunes - it sounds like something your grandma would make, but the sweetness of the prunes really compliments the curry. Like others, I use an egg wash over...

This was really easy, looked great and tasted YUMMY! I used two jars of marinara sauce and added roasted veggies - carrots, celery, garlic and tomatoes, which I placed in the food processor until smooth (except the tomatoes, which I left whole. I made the stuffing as per the recipe but before spreading the stuffing on the steak, I rubbed about 2TB...

Not too special. I normally do not write negative reviews, but this recipe just doesn't cut it. To make it so that it is marginally tasty you'll need to make several adjustments. 1. As others have said, substitute white wine in the sauce for a portion of the broth (I used equal amounts), once the sauce has reduced - adjust the seasoning -its very...

This is a wonderfully easy and tasty bean dip. I made it exactly as stated with a tad more of lemon. I would suggest adding the olive oil, garlic, salt and lemon in smaller increments so you end up with something that is to your taste. For me, its fab as is."

This is the very best chocolate cake ever...don't bother trying another recipe. A couple of points from my experience. 1) I used 9 inch pans and the cake came out perfectly (watch timing however) 2) I used 1 extra egg in batter and and extra yolk in the frosting as I didn't have extra large eggs...again still perfection. Use "good" chocolate..i"

This is a great recipe for a flavorful, hearty meal. I follow it very closely, except I use half the amount of tomato paste and I use homemade beef broth instead of water. Reducing the tomato paste allows the flavor of the other veggies, aromatics and beef to come through better - if however you like a more tomatoey sauce....go for it. I serve "
