Reviewed Broccoli Cheese Soup

Nov 8, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

They should've left this recipe as is. Roasting the broccoli is not necessary. The amount of flour is way off. The soup turned to paste. I added 2 cups of broth and it was still too thick. I only came to foodnetwork because the recipe was missing from Ree's site. It's supposed to be 1/3 cup flour. what is up, Food Network? I'm giving it five...

Ok, first of all I used the recipe in Bobby's new book, which I just bought three days ago. It is slightly different from this recipe. At first, this recipe did not seem to be working at all. I had a hard time getting the cake to spread in the pan. I pushed forward anyway. This cake came out fabulous when it was done. I only had to bake about "

Reviewed Three Meat Pasta

Aug 21, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I did not care for this dish at all. The onions were crunchy, the cottage cheese did not melt, the chicken took on a weird texture. The angel hair was too thin for all the meat it had to contend with. I can't imagine this recipe is supposed to be 4-6 servings. It's more like 10-12. Terrible"

Im not sure about the three onions in this. Seems like an excessive amount. I used one onion. Everything else I did exactly as is and this is by far the best meatloaf I have ever made, and I have made a lot of meatloaf. Delicious.""

These are great. I had some questions when I dissolved my yeast. It doesn't really get "foamy" unless you put sugar in it. I was worried there was something wrong with the yeast. They did look a little small going in the oven but they came out perfect! Exactly what I was looking for.""

Reviewed Sesame Chicken

Dec 29, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I think this is a good recipe with good flavor. It really stretches some chicken over my family of 6 by the time I make some rice and throw in some brocolli. I am not a fan of frying -- it's dangerous and it makes a mess -- and this is so much healthier.""

Reviewed Brined Herb-Crusted Turkey with Apple Cider Gravy

Nov 25, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I made this for Thanksgiving this year. First time brining a turkey. This was by far the best turkey I ever cooked. I skipped the sweet in the gravy and the gravy was perfect! I will definitely do this again next year.""

I don't know what happened here, but all the broth was gone (and I added more than the recipe called for and my potatoes still weren't cooked through. They also stuck to the bottom of the pan and didn't look anything like Rachaels. I just don't think it worked at all."

This is really delicious as is. I didn't change anything. The vegetables were fabulous. I wonder how much difference the garlic and lemon makes inside the bird, since I don't really think I tasted it. It was so good, that I will just trust Ina and do it anyway. She hasn't let me down yet."
