Reviewed Lasagna Bolognese
"OMG - This one is a "keeper". My husband said this is going in the "request for birthday dinner" file.
Took the better part of an entire Saturday - but I love to spend my weekends being adventurous in the kitchen. This is a great alternative lasagne for those who are not fond of the "curdy" ricotta/egg filling most lasagnes have - like my husband.
THe bechamel mixed in with the mozz and parm beautifully - creating a creamy layer (especially right beneath the crunch top of browned parm/mozz).
I think the part my hubby loved most was the bolognese. It is his favorite pasta sauce. Brings lasagne to another whole level. Extremely deep flavors and rich texture.
