Reviewed Baked Macaroni and Cheese

Nov 18, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

This mac and cheese was pretty easy to make.. but the taste was just blah. I didn't season it too much, thinking that all of the cheese would give it some salty flavor, but it didn't. Ritz topping was good. Hopefully the colossal amount of leftovers will taste a little better."

Very tasty recipe and also really easy to make. I didn't have ramekins so I used a muffin tin instead, worked out great. They smelled great while they were baking. Great as leftovers too. The recipe made A LOT more than what I needed, so I made a double batch and brought the extras to work. They did come out a little too greasy after you microwave"

Reviewed Grilled Pork Lion with Garlic Rosemary Marinade

Great marinade! I did not use oyster sauce, but it was delicious nonetheless. I used the marinade on pork tenderloins and the sauce was great paired with some egg noodles. It had a great, unique flavor that will work for pork as well as chicken. Definitely a keeper."

Reviewed Pappardelle With Corn

Great recipe! Really easy to make too. I also used 3 ears of corn and shredded some rotisserie chicken into the pasta. I luckily did find pappardelle pasta but I found it too thick, next time I will use egg noodles. Sauce was light and summery! Definitely a keeper!"

I loved this recipe! It was fairly easy to make. It took a bit of time to pound out the chicken and assemble the roll ups. Mine didn't look as good as Giada's though haha. As other reviewers commented, it did come out a bit salty. Next time, I would omit seasoning the chicken breasts because the prosciutto was salty enough, along with the parmesa...

Reviewed Chicken with Shallots

This dish is seriously out of this world! Very easy to make too! I used some chicken stock to ease the acidity from the lemon juice/wine (That also stretched the sauce too, which is always good). I folded in pasta into the sauce in the pan to make a complete dish. Garnished with some freshly grated parmesan cheese and parsley. The flavor of the s...

Reviewed Dijon Chicken Wings

Jul 5, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

These were DELICIOUS and SO SO easy to make. I split up the mustard.. using about 1/2 cup of Honey Dijon mustard and 1/4 cup of regular Dijon. The mixture still tasted a little too mustard-y for my liking so I sprinkled about a tablespoon of sugar to sweeten it up. The chicken wings cooked very well, but watch out when you toss the mixture with th"

Reviewed Scallops Provencal

I just finished eating these scallops. Bay scallops were on sale so I purchased those instead of the sea scallops. I only ended up using half a pound of the scallops and left the other ingredients the same because I wanted more sauce. I served the scallops over plain white rice cooked in chicken stock. I also served asparagus on the side. Everything...

Reviewed Corn Chowder

Mar 2, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

This soup was unbelievable! I'm sure the recipe by itself would be delicious but I did add several things though.. 1 celery rib, half of a red pepper, 6 chopped slices of turkey bacon, 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper and a whole bunch of Old Bay. I didn't have fresh corn on hand so I used 3 cans of corn and added 1 extra cup of chicken stock (didn't have...
