"I suggest Food Network and Tyler to revise this recipe... in the recipe I saw on TV yesterday the dough was made entirely in a food processor, which was mainly why I was interested in the recipe. I own no stand mixer and do not care to knead dough by hand. i wanted to keep the directions from the food processor handy for future reference, but this recipe only gives me list of ingredients... too bad!!!

"These are actually called in Puerto Rico EMPANADILLAS... We call empanadas breaded steak or breaded chicken cutlets. If you order an empanada in San Juan, where this chef is supposedly from, you'll get the latter, not the turnover you are showing here.
