"Really good comfort dish but Very rich. I changed a few things... Used 1/8 tsp of ground ginger in addition to the other spices, less flour for the roux, added a few tablespoons of chicken broth to the baking dish to keep the meatballs moist, added a dash of allspice, ginger and nutmeg to the gravy and toasted the bread before soaking in the milk"
