Reviewed honey roasted sweet potatoes

May 28, 2014 on

This is a simple and delicious recipe, that I will make again. I baked them for 45 minutes, and used 3 very big sweet potatoes in one layer on big pan with low borders. (I adjusted the recipe accordingly, but used about tablespoon of lemon juice instead of teaspoon).

This piece of meat sat in the freezer for very long, i didn't know what to do with it. We grilled it on cast iron skillet on the stove, 2 min per side, then after slicing put it again on the skillet for a minute. Needed some salt and pepper. It came out delicious.

I only made shrimp, not the sauce, and sprinkled with lemon juice when it was done. The 20-25 count shrimp were ready in 6 minutes.

Yummy recipe, will make it again for sure. Used drumsticks instead of thighs, didn't have tarragon, and added only 2 tbsp mustard to the sauce instead of 1/4 cup. Perfect consistency sauce. Didn't bother with egg noodles. Much easier to serve over white rice, tastes great.
I suggest cooling the dutch oven a bit before adding onions because...

I followed the recipe exactly. Loved this salad, mango and kale taste great together, the dressing is delicious. Only curly kale was available, and I wish it was a little less tough.

I followed the recipe exactly, and thought the cookies turned out well, but too sweet. I will try to reduce sugar to 1/2 a cup if I make them again. "

Great recipe! Better than both my mom's and mother in law's. I used lean turkey meat, no parsley, and tomato sauce with basil. (based on what I had at home) I am just saying that this recipe turns out delicious, very simple to make and there is a lot to play around with."

The shrimp is yummy. One pepper was enough for my taste. I served it with plain rice and didn't make salsa, it's very good by itself."

Reviewed Salmon Baked in Foil

Jun 24, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

It was a failure. The salmon was undercooked, returned it to oven, but it still lacked flavor and wasn't delicious. It takes a lot of experience to bake fish in foil, very easy to undercook or overcook. I will have to try a different salmon recipe."

I have made this soup multiple times, many times for guests. Everybody loves it. It's easy to make, and flavorful. I always use reduced fat milk instead of cream, and no buttermilk. Sometimes instead of fresh leeks I use frozen. In this recipe I add 1 cup of milk only, otherwise it will be too liquidy."

Never made lemon meringue pie before, never made custard before. Came out wonderful and perfect from top to bottom. For me the most time consuming was the lemons ( used juice from 5 small lemons and zested 3 of them). Made the crust and the filling exactly by the recipe except for not having limonchello, and forgetting to temper the yolks. Didn't"

Feb 25, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

This recipe was a hit at first attempt. I made only half the amount, and used only beef. Also used
less cumin and chili powder to fit my family's taste. I put in 1 can of tomatoes (if you do the full- size recipe I would recommend 2 cans, and less 1 cup stock). It came out perfect, and the meat was tender 50 min after adding beans. ""
