Reviewed Marinara Sauce

Nov 19, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

Super Yummy!! I'd never thought of putting pancetta in marinara sauce, but what a great addition and will do from now on. I made this sauce for Ann's manicotti recipe and have used it now for a few other things like pasta, meatloaf topper, and a seafood combo. I like the simple ingredients so that you can season (basil, oregano, or thyme etc. depending...

Dinner was AMAZING. I don't generally rate a recipe unless I follow it to a tee, I however will in this case. I set out to make this recipe knowing that I was going to use pasta instead of crepes. I made the Bechamel sauce and the filling at the same time. After completing those tasks I reached for my pasta only to fine it looked as if it had met...

Awesome!! This was an easy sauce to make and the best for a base for Mac N Cheese I have ever used. I started out with this recipe for Ann's Manicotti only to find out after I had made the sauce that my manicotti noodles looked as if an elephant had sat upon them. Ahh what to do??? I made another batch of the sauce changed the cheeses and mixed both...

I generally don't rate a recipe unless I follow it 100%, but this time I am going to make an exception. This was quick to create and the platter would have been licked clean if it was allowed. I had previously frozen boneless/skinless chicken thighs and breasts. I chopped them into 1" cubes and cooked them along with the orange peppers that...

This has been a staple at our New Year's gathering for a few years, and now make a quad batch and still run out. I had been begged for this recipe by many!! I love that they are baked and not fried. I serve with a homemade "Broncoberry" Sauce Yummmm!"

Very tasty. I loved the smoked rum flavor of the plank, I soaked it all afternoon though. I have used planks many times before, but the rum was a great addition. Cooking the salmon with its skin on in the right way to go!! Great flavor, quick and easy, and the benefits of the salmon. Sure can't go wrong!!

This was awesome!! I made this as a combo sandwich and tomato soup. I caramelized enough extra onions for French Onion soup for later. It was soooo yummy. I think I will add thick bacon next weekend. (Soup is for dinner Wednesday) Thanks Jeff!

Love the new kitchen set, much better!!""

I find it ironic when people change the recipe then give something poor or mediocre reviews. It makes no sense to me, as they are not rating the actual recipe but their cooking. That said, I actually followed exactly what Jeff had done. Holy cow this was good. We loved the apple slaw (the main reason I came looking for this recipe) and it was...
