Reviewed spaghetti with pinot grigio and seafood

Jul 28, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Absolutely LOVED this! I followed some of the other suggestions. I used linguine instead of spaghetti, I put about 2 tablespoons of butter in the sauce, used more wine (almost full cup), a dash of clam juice from a can of clams, added red pepper flakes and squeezed some fresh lemon into the sauce, then lemon zest and grated parmesan on top. Was...

Reviewed Lemon-Garlic Shrimp and Grits

Jul 29, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The shrimp was excellent! I don't like a lot of garlic, so I halved that. My only caution to future followers of this recipe..... DO NOT use instant grits! Maybe I made them incorrectly, but they were horrible! Extremely salty and would not thicken. I will make this again, but will take the time to make old-fashioned grits."

The only changes I made were to NOT chop the garlic (like the flavor, but don't like to be inundated!. Used 4 whole garlic cloves that I could remove. I also used Rotel original diced tomatoes instead of stewed. Since I used Rotel, I left out the green onions. Was delicious! PS: Used butter instead of margarine. PSS: Cut up the chicken aft"

I didn't care for this chili at first. It just tasted really "different" to me. That being said, I knew the flavor was excellent... just not to my liking. After the second day of having it, it started growing on me, and by the 3rd day, I was craving it! Yes! It makes a generous amount, which is a good thing, because the flavors deepen and mel"

I just made the meatballs from this recipe, as I am trying to find an authentic Italian NY/LI pizzeria- tasting meatball. These didn't cut it. They were good, not great, but not what I'm longing for.""

The soup was okay. I will probably make it again; however will need to improvise and add some more ingredients. I found it to be a little flat. We put shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream on it, and it was oh so much better, as well as more fattening!""

This was fantastic and easy! A real family pleaser! I took "ItalianBella's" advice and added red pepper and Italian seasoning while cooking the chicken. I'm not a garlic fan, so I simply cut a garlic clove in half and used while sauteing and then discarded. Next time will add the portabellas and basil! This recipe has endless possibilities and...
