Reviewed Mussels in White Wine
"Love Mussels. Had 4 lbs the other night - half of them would not close when touched,tapped.
So I cooked the ones in a different pot - as an experiment. I only lost about 4 mussels - almost all 4 lbs were perfect. So why did they not close during cleaning/handeling? I had them on ice in the fridge for the day. maybe too cold? anyway i did not "
