I'm confused. You say you tried twice and the coating came off both times but you gave it 4 stars and claim that even if you follow the recipe exactly, it's your fault it didn't come out right? The POINT of a recipe is to explain and direct people who may not be professional chefs how to make a dish. Most of the reviews say the coating came off....

This was the worst. I thought it was odd to add so much milk and water to the egg solution and I was right, the coating came off in less than a second. I followed the recipe exactly, even the oil temps. I cooled it for a half hour before frying. When I turned it over, I salvaged it somewhat by doing a straight egg wash and re-flouring.
