Reviewed Fettuccine Alfredo (Lighter Version
"This was awesome! I did get sidetracked with peeling my shrimp and the milk almost overboiled. I should have kept an eye on it so the starch didn't get stuck to the bottom because I had to quickly take it off of the stove and stir and scrape to get it off. But the consistency was nice and thick. After adding the cream and cheese, it was perfect! I also added a little pepper and garlic powder. Next time I will put it in a blender with some roasted peppers instead of adding the cream!"

"I reviewed this recipe last year and have since made it about 30 times for various work fiestas and it was my husband's "birthday cake". That said, I have made a few adjustments that might help some people. I, too, use the Ghiradelli brownie mix, any one will do really. I add mini chocolate chips and to add insult to injury, when it is just out of the oven, I use Hershey's Syrup on top to help the marshmallows stick (I figure that if you are on a diet, there is no need to even look at this dessert!) I also use an 8' spring form pan with foil or parchment paper on the bottom to help slide it off. I take the sides off when I broil the marshmallows. I have even used kosher marshmallows on it once for one of my co-workers and it still turned out alright. Have fun with this one because it's too easy not to!

"OMG! You would not believe how amazing this recipe is. Usually I will take a recipe and tweek it to my tastes, but this one I followed to the letter. I bought a leg of lamb and cubed it myself (not my original plan, I wanted to roast it but found this recipe instead). I had to borrow Cardamom because they were trying to charge $8 in the store for it. But in the end, it was awesome. Sweet, spicy, a little heat, perfectly moist lamb. Don't be put off by the apricots, they melt away in your mouth. I will make this again and again and again. We are having some friends over in a few weeks and this is exactly what I am serving. It tastes even better the next day!
