Reviewed Balsamic Roasted Beet Salad

Excellent!! I halved the dressing and it was still too dressed for my husband and me. Also used walnuts vs. almonds, and used golden beets. Can't wait to make again!!"

YUM! I made this a few weeks ago and am craving it again, so will make this weekend. Used chicken sausage vs. regular chicken and it was delicious."

Great flavors! - could not find black vinegar so used white vinegar + more soy sauce. Also used coconut oil but would have preferred peanut for that extra flavor. Was iffy on the cornstarch and only used it on half the meat but it made the sauce a great consistency. Looking forward to the leftovers tonight."

Delicious! Used half the amount of olive oil and dressing still coated entire amount of pasta. Also steamed the veggies. Would definitely make again!"

Reviewed Tomato Pie

Made this for a baby shower where several attendees are vegetarian and it was a hit! I added a dijon layer before adding the tomatoes (saw this on another Paula Dean show) and then layered the tomatoes and cheese. Used maybe 2T light mayo and added to top vs. mixed w/ cheese and it was fine."

YUMMY!! My husband is usually the one to make mashed potatoes, but I think this recipe just edged out his :) Agree with half the butter and more potatoes."

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this recipe! I originally made with her other "Dad's Favorite" ribs and mashed potatoes, and I've made this slaw several times since Father's Day. Great way to eat brussels sprouts!"

Very good!, hot or cold. Could use a bit more peanut sauce but overall very light and great with chicken lettuce wraps."

Excellent flavor and pretty healthy! I paired this with Nigella's Peanut Sesame Noodles and it was a great dinner, as well as great leftovers!"

Reviewed Basmati Rice

Feb 6, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Best flavored rice I've ever made! Could have used just a little more liquid so will use 2 full cups next time - substituted water with chicken broth. Used 1/2 a yellow onion vs. a whole one and this was plenty. Served w/ Robert Irvine's Spicy Red Curry Chicken and was a great pairing. Cannot wait to make this again.

Reviewed Spicy Red Curry Chicken and Rice

Very good!, used with Ina's Basmati rice recipe and was a great pairing. Used 4 tsp red curry and still could have been a tad spicier. Would definitely make again, my fiance loves Thai food and thought this tasted pretty authentic w/ the rice.

Made 3 times in last month!, love this recipe! Haven't tried it with the slaw yet but the chicken is so moist and the mustard is perfectly spicy. Paired with this with some hommade spaetzle and broccoli, and it's a great dinner.

4.9 Stars!! GREAT tasting! Would bake in small oven-safe, decorative dish next time so can serve in that, as the cheese stuck to bottom of cookie tray and fell apart by the time I moved it from the tray to a platter w/ crackers.
