I changed this recipe so much I suppose it isn't paula's. But mine is amazing. You don't have to thaw the hashbrowns its a waste of time, they cook the same. I use 1 can of cream of chicken soup, no other soup will even taste right. I use about 4-5 oz of sour cream, that way u can still taste the profile of the potato and it isn't so goopy. And so"
