"I saw Giada make this on Monday - I had to make it on Tuesday. My husband had leftover turkey from a luncheon with his class at school. I used bacon instead of pancetta and added celery. I put the chicken mixture in an 11 x 7 pan. My suggestion about the topping, if you're using 11 x 7 pan, is to still cut it in the four pieces and place on top. I"

Reviewed Sausage, Peppers and Onions Stoup

"Maybe it's my cooking pot, but my sausage didn't get that 'really browned' look. I've made it twice, but I would be willing to try it again!!! - because it is just so delicious. I used hot sausage and 5 cubanelle peppers and sweet onions. The balsamic vinegar added a wonderful taste. I can't imagine this tasting any better with the sausage being really browned. I can't wait to try it again.
