Reviewed Grilled Flatbread with Garlic Rubbed Fillet of Beef, White Bean Puree and Sun-dried Tomato Chutney
"It turned out great, but there are a couple of errors in the recipe. The most glaring being the omission of sugar in the flat bread recipe. Just putting yeast into warm water will never proof and the bread will never rise and you could wait four hours and end up with nothing that could be grilled. The second error, in my opinion, is specifying 8 o"
Reviewed Eggplant "Meatballs"---Polpette di Melanzane
"I am a decent home cook. I make a hundred or so new recipes per year, usually pretty successfully. I was somewhat skeptical about this one because eggplant soaks up liquids like a sponge and I was right because if you follow the directions you end up with eggplant soup. Even after adding a full container of bread crumbs, something not called for i"
Reviewed Baked Costa Rican-Style Tilapia with Pineapples, Black Beans and Rice
"I think that marinating the fish for twenty minutes in so much acid ruined the fish and made it mealy and not very appetizing. Also, I had a nice ripe very tasty pineapple that overpowered the dish. You could hardly taste the other components, even the homemade salsa that on its own was pretty spicy. Maybe you should halve both the marinating time"
Reviewed Mustard Green Gratin
"It is amazing how something as spicy and flavorful as mustard greens could end up as bland as this dish did. Even the ricotta/Parmesan/egg mixture was bland. Very disappointing. It wasn't worth eating, which for me is very unusual since I nearly always clean my plate. "
Reviewed Chorizo and Polenta Lasagna
"Really delicious plus it is nice to have a chorizo recipe. Next time I'll try it with ground turkey to make it a bit healthier.""

Reviewed Flounder and Vegetable Parcels
"I have made hundreds of FoodNetwork.com recipes and this is the first review I've written. This is a incredibly tasty dish and while many of the recipes on this site are fantastic, few are so simple and give you so much bang for the buck. Heck, you don't even have to defrost frozen fish. I use frozen tilapia, one of the cheapest fishes on the market. The bit of wine added really makes a huge difference when combined with the juices from the vegetables and fish. We have made this a weekly meal but still each time we eat it my wife and I repeatedly say "boy is this good".
