"I cooked my turkey yesterday this way and it came out beautiful. Golden brown and very moist. My roaster is higher in the middle where the bird sits and the broth is lower on the sides, so my turkey wasn't sitting in all of the broth. I usually cook my turkey before Thanksgiving, slice it, and put it back in the broth and freeze. I take it out"
