The Bolognese recipe needs to be adjusted. Garlic should be added to the vegetables. After the vegetables and beef are browned and the liquid evaporated, red wine should be added, at least 1/2 bottle. Then it should simmer low and slow until it dries up. It depends on what you prefer. You can use sweet sausage, hot sausage, breakfast sausage, whichever you prefer already. My favorite is cheese and garlic sausage. That is what I always use.
