I'm a busy mother of 3 without any knack in the kitchen. We eat out most of the time, but I'm trying to make small changes toward healthier eating habits. I prefer "5 ingredients or less" recipes that can be made from start to finish in 1/2 hour or less. (I take at least 2x the norm to complete a recipe, so a 1/2 hour recipe will take me at least 1 hour.) I don't mind cooking, but I get discouraged when my labors turn out something less than edible. But I refuse to give up! I will continue trying to set a better example for my children and provide healthier edible options as often as I can. Now, baby steps to the kitchen...
Fresh fruits & veggies from the garden. A big juicy steak. Homemade soups. Pumpkin pie.
