“Ellie's recipe is wonderful! We followed it exactly but in the end added a bit more salt & pepper, a dash of tabasco and a sprinkle of parmigiano reggiano. DELISH! We also used vegetable broth. Served with fresh ciabatta bread. So warming and comforting. We will definitely cook again! This soup is good as is but lends itself to customization....”

This recipe is a keeper. Like all recipes, it has to be tweaked and adjusted to individual taste.
I followed the recipe exactly, minus a tad of the rosemary - I know how potent that herb is! I think you could get by with at least 3/4 cup mayo as I still have some left over in the frig. I am SURE I can repurpose...”
