Reviewed Chocolate Truffles

"Decadent!!! So so good! Very easy to make...although I dont think I chopped the chocolate fine enough and I had some small pieces that didnt melt right away, had to throw in the microwave for thirty seconds. Next time I will probably use a cheese shredder to make sure the chocolate melts all together. I used Frangelico instead of Grand Marnier, and rolled the Truffles in a mixture of conf sugar, cocoa, cinnamon and pecans...they were sooo soooo good!! Thanks Ina!

Reviewed Bay Scallop Gratin

"Excellent!!! This was my first time making Scallops! My husband usually takes charge of the seafood, but I made this as an appetizer for our Valentines Dinner. Wonderful flavor..so easy to do. I will say that it was a bit salty for me if you follow the recipe exactly. Also it took about 20 mins in the oven. I will be making this again!! Thanks Ina!

Reviewed Homemade Ricotta

"WOW... Simply divine!!! I never knew you could make Ricotta at home! I made this and added a sprinkle of salt, pepper, nutmeg, and chopped fresh parsley and scallions. I toasted some Ciabatta and brush it with EVOO then rubbed it with fresh garlic. I used the Ricotta like a brushetta on the bread and it was so creamy and tasty!!! My Nana Rose would have been proud!! Next time I am going to make this and make homemade Cannolis!!! Thank you Ina!!

"When my husband and I saw Anne make this on her show we had to have it!!! It was simply wonderful!!!! Very filling too! Loved everything about it and it looked so beautiful I took pictures and posted it on Facebook and had sooo many request for the recipe!! Thanks Anne...Loved it!!!

Reviewed Potato-Fennel Gratin

"Wonderful!!!! The best potato casserole I have ever had...and my husband thought so too!!!! I personally dont like black licorice flavor at all,but when I saw this on Barefoot Contessa I had to try it. The fennell was such a wonderful earthy flavor with the potatos!I followed the recipe exactly, except I used Extra Sharp Cheddar instead of Guryere. The kids and the whole family loved it!!!! I will be adding it to my Christmas Eve brunch menu for next year!!!
