Just made this and it was AMAZING. the browning really makes it very flavorful, and so does the salt!
Its also really important to finish the pasta and sauce together with the pasta water, then whip in a bunch of cheese and olive like anne does, or you can use butter, which i believe is a better emulsifier and really holds the sauce together....

to the reviewer who said that the recipe is flawed, its not. you can cook a vegetable for as long or as short a time as you like. kale can also be eaten raw as a salas, chopped very finely, so perhaps anne did not mean for the kale to be totally wilted. this is a great recipe and anne is the best chef on the network, the addition of the sherry vi...

When Ina made these on her show, she said there would be tons of cookies and cakes at the bake sale she was going to, so this would be something different. I had a bake sale today, and i remembered these and decided to try them. They were so easy and so delicious. follow her directions EXACTLY, and they should com out great. "

These came out amazingly. I did it a little bit different though. I made Ina Garten's chicken stock, and strained it and used it for the broth, more flavor that way. For the soup, i just added the chicken I used for the stock, and also added fresh dill and parsley in addition to the celery and onions. Instead of cream of celery soup, I made a simple...
