Maybe you should relax and just make the recipe. Maybe he didn't mention them because he didn't want people with allergies freaking out as they are a garnish and not integral to the recipe? Reviewed Old-Time Beef Stew

This recipe is fantastic. I used boneless short ribs the first time I made this because our stores meat dept was picked clean. I'm making it again tonight and I'll be using stew meat. Also, the firt time I didn't make rice. I'll be serving this over rice tonight. Great great flavor.

Reviewed Potato Soup with Shrimp

This is some of the best soup I've ever had!!! My mom used to make a fantastic seafood "chowderesque" soup and this tastes identical. We've made it half a dozen times in the last 8 weeks, and we use shrimp and corn.
