I too am an experienced baker and after reading the reviews this is how I modified: Add 2T Amaretto to batter with vanilla, as well as 1t Orange extract and zest of an orange. I also brushed the logs with an egg beaten with water and then sprinkled with sugar prior to baking. Delicious!"
