Reviewed Sigrid's Carrot Cake

Sep 16, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I was amazed to see this cake featured on the show because it was the same as the one I'd gotten from my mom years ago & have been making exclusively ever since. I'd never seen it anywhere else, & I believe it's the best carrot cake that I've ever tasted. The cinnamon shines through & it's moist & delicious, especially the frosting. The only diffe"

This cupcake was good, but not great. It tasted like a white cake, not lemon, so I was disappointed as I'd looked forward to having a lemon-blueberry cupcake. I won't be making this again."

FANTASTIC! We loved this recipe. It took awhile to prep the jalapenos, so I'll plan better for that next time...& there will definitely be a next time! We've tried several of Jeff's sandwiches & have never been disappointed."

I LOVED these! I followed the recipe exactly, baking for 40 minutes & they came out browned & crispy with a wonderful taste. I baked them on a silicone sheet & had no problems with sticking. I especially liked the combination of the cheese balls with the chutney! The chutney alone seemed a bit hot, although I still liked it, but together with the cheese balls, it was fantastic; much, much better tasting than...

GREAT DRESSING! I've made this dressing many times for all kinds of fruits & greens & it's really, really good on everything. I did find that it tastes better if allowed to sit for an hour or more, but it's good immediately, if it's mixed well.""

WONDERFUL!! Every part of this cupcake is delicious! The cake is moist-& stays moist for days after it's made-with a rich, chocolate taste & a fine crumb. The ganache filling is rich & the icing is light & wonderful! I love cakes & this is one of the best that I've ever had! The only changes I made were that I used 2% milk instead of heavy cream,...
