"I figured out the mystery as to why the recipe I saw on his show and the one on the website where different. There are two: He has one called Lena's Swedish Meatballs, and another just Swedish Meatballs. The Lena's one is the one from the show, with the more authentic ingredients.

"I watched a re-run of his show with this recipe today. The really odd thing is, he used allspice in the show, and repeatedly pointed out that allspice is a common Scandinavian ingredient. I wonder why he didn't use it here, because I had been planning to pick some up to make it.
