I make my Nana's every year from Betty Crocker Cook Book, and it turns out most of the time perfect, dry to the touch on the outside and fluffy inside. I made this twice, both times it never set up and I cooked it to 250 once and 265 and nothing, just ribbons. It must be the sugar amount and the water that are different. Any suggestions?

Perfect! Just don't give up, keep beating it in your stand mixer, it took me a super long time, patience and it WILL set up.

I retract my review! Embarrassingly I walked away to find my old edition cook book to compare ingredients and when I was done it had set up and I had to work very fast to get spoonful's onto wax paper! Patients!

OK, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Anne Burrell, so I indoctrinated her recipe somewhat and altered it to fit my diet. Here goes, Ital flavored Jenno O ground turkey in place of Pork, soft Tofu in place of Ricotta cheese, assemble as Anne's recipe calls. I used more garlic due to the neutral flavor of the Tofu. It turned out excellent, I'm a happy girl.

I make this every fall and it pairs well with Pork Chops or tenderloin. It's easy on the waistline as well as satisfying and delicious."

Very tasty Brownie! It makes a lot so I cut it in half, which was perfect for our family. Also I omitted adding extra chips along with the walnuts because I prefer not to have chunks of chocolate in my brownies. Besides these slight alterations to suit my tastes I would recommend this recipe very highly to anyone. "

Humming Bird Cake was not at all what I had hoped for. I made this for a Birthday cake without pre making one before hand to see if I would like it, and I was very dissappointed. It left me flat. Nothing special. I would maybe put the effort into tweeking it but honestly it wasn't for me. Sorry Food Network, not this time..."

I watched the show diners drive in and dives when Guy was in Nashville, TN. making this recipe, and I based the ingredients off of what I watched on the show.
