This was a good first attempt, but I think I'll have to try again. I couldn't find tamarind paste -- just a brick of tamarind (I don't know what tamarind is supposed to look like. Not sure how I feel about the fennel. I don't cook with it often, so I think I sliced it too thick. The next time I try this, I'll substitute leeks.
