This was really good, but I wouldn't go as far to say that it's company worthy, which in my book is five stars. Since the pea mixture is room temp, I'll try again this summer when I'm not craving something warmer. "

Sausage, cream and pasta... how could anyone go wrong (except for fat and calorie intake, lol)? It was a hit! I used 3/4 lb. sweet sausage and 1/4 lb. hot and skipped the hot sauce. Didn't even need to ask my 18 yr. old son if he liked it... "Mom, this is great!""

I actually would give it 4.5 stars. My father grew up on salisbury steak and he normally considers my cooking not "comfort food" enough. He gave it a thumbs up! I hesitated even looking at this recipe since it was only rated four stars... so glad I took the time to read the reviews! The base of the store bought pizza dough and the mozzarella/egg/parsley/lemon zest is a great start to ANYTHING you want to put inside.
