"Wanted to try something a little different this year for Christmas so I made these. They were very good. The only two issues I had were I had to set my oven to 350, at 375 the bottoms were browning too fast and I had to leave them out for the icing to cool and my husband kept eating them (LOL)! He liked them without the icing and loved them with the icing.
Reviewed Butternut Squash Lasagna
"I wanted to try something different, so I made this recipe. It was such a surprise. I wasn't sure my husband was going to like it, so I had only made half the recipe, but he did and even went back for seconds. The hardest part of this recipe was finding the amaretti cookies. I am glad I found them though becasue I think they added a great taste to the squash. This will definitely be something we eat every fall!
