My Activity

Reviewed Bruschetta with Peppers and Gorgonzola

"Excellent receipt. It is a fairly filling starter, or party nosh. The bleu cheese is really good with it.

Reviewed Pad Thai with Pork

"This is a good basic receipt -- albeit, with lime instead of lemon. My family liked it better than the Thai dive in town. I used fresh ingredients cilantro and green onions. The only other change I might make is to make more of the fish/lime/sugar sauce. Oh, I used oyster sauce -- not sure if that is appreciably different than Thai fish sauce.

OK, two years later and I still like the receipt. There is a huge difference between oyster sauce and fish sauce. I found a good Korean grocery next to Ft. Campbell that carries everything I need. Oh, and I make my own tamarind sauce out of the dried fruit. Good tartness.
