"I followed the directions for soaking the beans, but like others, they didn't soften. I didn't read the reviews before making, wish I had. I cooked them in the crockpot for 11.5 hours while I was at work. Still hard as rock!!! I have them cooking on top of the stove now but I don't think they will soften. What a waste of good bourbon""
