Reviewed Country Fried Steak with White Gravy

"Never made country fried steak but needed to cook a steak I recently defrosted and wanted something a little different. Followed the recipe with the exception of the seasoning. I used a spice mix that I found while visiting New Orleans this past week called Slap Ya MaMa. :) It's true.... It is a simple but balanced mix of salt, red pepper, black pepper and garlic. I seasoned the steak, flour and the gravy to taste. The spice mix flavored the meat perfectly and the red pepper in the seasoning gave it just the right amount of kick. I let the steaks simmer in the gravy for 10min before serving. The steak was so tender that there was no need for a knife. The gravy was sooo amazing. I served the steaks with Jasmine rice and green beans. My boyfriend had a big Kool-aid smile and said it is one of his favorite meals so far. "

Reviewed Pancakes

"I hate to give this recipe this rating because I have loved so many recipes from the Food network. So maybe I did something wrong but I followed the instructions and was not a fan of the texture or taste. My dogs however loved them and would probably give them 4 stars..At least someone had a good breakfast this morning.. :("

Reviewed Fettuccine Alfredo

"I just finished eating this amazing recipe and everyone in the house was raving about it. I read the reviews about the lemon flavor and squeezed a half of a lemon into the sauce. I also still used the zest and it was not overpowering. I used dried pasta because I did not have any fresh fettuccine. I seasoned the sauce to taste with a little garlic salt and powder. I also sauteed some chicken and sun dried tomatoes in olive oil, fresh garlic, shallots and salt & pepper to taste. Mixed it all together and had a amazing dinner. :) Thanks Giada

Reviewed Coconut Curry Shrimp

"Very tasty dish...So easy and went great with mango coconut rice. Just added a bit of corn starch at the end for a thicker sauce.

Reviewed Mango Coconut Rice

"I made this recipe tonight and did not have any of the issues other people had. I followed the directions exactly and the rice was very good. The last step is very important to cover the rice and let it steam. I let it steam for 8-10 min and the rice was perfect. I used a very ripe Mango so the sweetness was there. I served this dish with a coconut curry shrimp dish and the sauce from the curry blended really well with the rice...Everyone loved it. Thanks again Paula:)

Reviewed Broccoli Casserole

"I loved this recipe. I used Cream of Chicken instead if mushroom and Miracle Whip instead of mayo and panko bread crumbs instead of crackers. Turned out perfect. :)
