Reviewed Potato and Caramelized Onion Tart

"I read the reviews before I made this and made some modifications. I used chive and onion cream cheese and omitted the mustand, since we aren't big mustard fans anyway. It turned out great. I actually made two of them with a nice steak dinner. The family loved it. Seconds were served. Carmalizing onions does take a long time when you want them don"

Reviewed Sweet Peach Cake

"Ya know, I hesitated to make this cake because of the reviews. However, I decided to make it because my husband loves peaches. It came out PERFECT! Nice and moist. I did make sure I patted the peaches really dry and did not use any of the juices from the peaches. The frosting along with the cake were a match made in heaven. Thanks Giada :)"

"My husband is a very picky eater and his comment was "this is the best chicken I have ever tasted". And that is saying something since I have been cooking meals since I was 9 years old, and everyone wants to come to our house for dinner or parties and holiday meals. Nice job, and we will definately use this recipe to help us loose weight and becom"

Reviewed Sunny's Southwestern Chicken Pot Pie

"FABULOUS!! Sunny has never steared me wrong yet! I did make a few changes. I roasted the chicken and used chicken broth, however, I added the crushed garlic and the thyme to the chicken broth and simmered for about 20 minutes. For the milk, I used half milk and half evaporated milk. Great combination for creamed soups. Also, I didn't have mexican "

About Me

When I was nine years old my mother passed away and my father was now the sole parent of three children; a girl and two boys. Fortunately, my father is one of a kind and encouraged his children to do what they like rather than do what he likes. Please don't get me wrong, he was strict when it came to school and our well being, but when it came to us being creative, it was all about us doing what we wanted. My two brothers, which were younger, spent countless hours with me in the kitchen; since that was my pation, and we all learned how to cook together. Sometimes things looked and tasted good, and sometimes....well, we won't go there. Anyway, thanks to my dad, I love to cook and have so since the age of nine. I had always wanted to open a restaurant, however I have never been able to, so I do the next best thing. I cook for my family and friends. I love how the simple fact that food can bring so much love into a family.
