Reviewed banana bread

Nov 9, 2014 on

My first banana bread and not bad at all! I don't have one of those fancy mixing machines so I used my handy dandy hand mixer and a spoon. I did add a little vanilla extract but everything else was the same. I think next time I will add an extra banana and some chocolate chips!

Not bad and quicker than I thought. Mine came out a little dry but that's because I didn't need to leave it in as long and also I had 1lb regular ground turkey (not dark) which only takes about 40-45 min so next time I'll take it out after 40 min. I normally don't change recipes but I sauted a green pepper and garlic with the onion and mixed bbq...

Not crazy about this version of chicken cacciatore but it was easy. I usually cook mine in the slow cooker with sauce instead of diced tomatoes, it comes out much thicker and saucier and more flavorful.

Can';t believe how easy this was. I remembered I had a can of clam sauce that I bought for the first time and hadn';t used yet, so when I saw this recipe I was thrilled. I didn';t see that you needed 3 cans so I just made a smaller portion and it was delish! So simple. I used dry seasoning but fresh parsley. I like that it had a l...

Feb 5, 2013 in on

Made this for the superbowl, thought it was going to be a disaster! My store only had 8lb pork shoulder so I cut it in half and froze the other portion. Seasoned it the night before, followed the instructions, cooked for 6 hours but when I went to shred it, it felt a little tough and didn't easily fall apart so it took a little muscle to shred,...

Too lemony. The directions were confusing because in the beginning it says to zest the lemons and combine with the rest of the ingredients but then later it says put lemon rinds into pan? Were we supposed to separate the zest/rinds and add later? Not very good. Sorry."

Jan 29, 2012 in on

Not bad. I get tired of eating regular scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese so this was a nice change plus I'm trying to get my family to eat a little healthier. I blanched and froze my spinach in little bags so I can take them out whenever I want. I added a little salt, pepper and butter for a little extra flavor. Will cook again."

Hated cauliflower as a kid but what a great and creative way to incorporate a vegetable, very good. I used College Inn chicken stock with roasted garlic flavor. Will make again with other dishes except I didn't have an immersion blender, used my electric mixer and I had cauliflower pieces all over the kitchen!""

I couldn't wait to try this recipe when I saw it on air with the mashed cauliflower and I love most of the Neelys cooking but this was just okay to me. I followed the recipe, loved the gravy but not sure I'll make again.""

I must say this was pretty tasty. I've been looking for new, fresh vegetable sides, especially kale and glad I found this. Although I didn't have coconut milk it still tasted good. I only used 1/2 cup of broth because I do not like soggy vegetables. I will make this again and will use it with other greens like collards and spinach, maybe even...
