Reviewed Creamy Artichoke and Spinach Dip

Dec 5, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

The blend of flavors is perfect for this dip. It makes a TON though. I definitely will cut it in half next time - just too much for an app! Also, I would more finely chop the artichoke on my next batch, it just makes it easier to get on bite size chips. Great recipe!

Reviewed Biscuits

This tends to be the recipe we use when we do biscuits on a whim since we generally have all the ingredients on hand. However, they are a bit dense and definitely feel like they need something else (but once you add sausage gravy, they do!). Lack of temp is just silly on a Food Network recipe. I used 400 and baked until brown (15m).

Reviewed Easy Sticky Buns

Love the ease of this recipe. They look complicated and easily impress, but really are a breeze. It is easy to alter too. A bit more pecans, cranberries instead of raisins, etc....Plus they taste wonderful the next day! I will make them again!

Reviewed French Onion Dip

Dec 5, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

My hubby doesn't even like onions and he loves this dip. I puree it to make it smooth (plus has the added benefit that I don't need to chop the onions too finely). Really easy, it just take time to get those onions all brown and carmalized. Perfect game day food :)

Reviewed Lemon Ricotta Cookies with Lemon Glaze

Dec 5, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Like, don't love this cookie. If I ever make it again I will double the lemon zest and juice. Not nearly lemony enough for me. They were extremely moist and relatively simple to make. Just wish they were a bit more lemony! Next time...
