Reviewed French Toast-wiches with Quick-Cook Warm Chutney

"I didn't make the chutney though I may make that seperately sometime. I think the sandwich suffered from the french toast process. I found the sandwich to be soggy, not something I like. However it was edible with nice flavors, I dipped mine in raspberry syrup. Next time I make a sandwich like this I will put it in a panini maker.

Reviewed Chocolate Souffles

"My first souffle! I had a few pockets of egg white but that was my fault so other first timers don't be so afraid to make sure its all incorporated of course. I splurged and used Valrhona 61% and added a splash of vanilla to the chocolate. Oven temperatures vary but I should have cooked it the whole 25 minutes. I served with some strawberries and freshly whipped cream. I think I could make one of these every day. Thanks Claire.

Reviewed Mom's Lasagna

"Since this was more of a pantry raid after seeing Michael Symon on Paula's show I did not follow everything exactly but had A-mazing results. I only used a splash of olive oil, 1 lb of Italian sausage and ricotta with one egg. I also used 1 can of diced tomatoes and 1 can of fire roasted, a lovely slightly sweet-dry Riesling, and a small squirt of honey. I did follow the directions to simmer the sauce which smelled amazing on a Sunday afternoon. I also only parboiled the lasagna noodles. This was sooo good, it fit nicely in my cermaic 9x13 pan and the cooking time for me was only about 45 min in the oven.
