“Best way to eat okra, my opinion. Steam fresh small okra pods for 3 minutes or less.
Drizzle one scant tablespoon butter, juice of one lemon or lime. Serve al dente, with small sprinkling of Parmesan Reggiano,,or NOT. Serve hot, or at room temperature.
Works well with freshly thawed frozen okra pods as well
“Like the creativity. I use left over baked pieces of chicken, tossed in a bag of Guapo chile powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt and black pepper. Then I fry the chicken pieces in olive oil and some butter. Amazing.”
