Great recipe! I ended up doubling it and instead of using another pound of ground beef, I used mild italian sausage- added alot of flavor. Also to my ricotta mixture, I added a good pinch of nutmeg. Do it in my lasagna too and it really adds something. Even better the next day!"

Fantastic! To the onions, garlic, and bay leaf, I poured in about 3/4 chianti red wine while sauteeing and it boosted the flavor alot. I let the sauce cook in a crockpot for about 24 hours and the flavors came out great. Great easy recipe."
