Reviewed Beef Bourguignon

"Hi Fellow Cooks! Did anyone else have a problem with it being too salty? I am a total salt-aholic and this was way too salty for even me. The end product ended up being ok, but I had to add 3 potatoes to soak up some of the salt. I took the potatoes out after they did their job. It was still too salty so I added about 2 cups of water to try to dilute the salt. After that, it was still pretty salty but it tasted fine when served over noodles. Did everyone salt the beef before searing and then also add the 1 tbsp of salt when you cooked the carrots? I think next time I'll leave out the 1 tbsp of salt and just go with salting the beef prior to cooking.
