My Activity

Reviewed Oven Fried Chicken

"I wondered if I would like the mustard flavor, but the flavor was great! I was out of Parm, so I used cheddar cheese instead. Also used dried thyme. It came out delicious. I wonder how great it would be as directed? My 3, 6 and 8 year old boys liked it OK, but the adults really loved it. I didn't tell them about the mustard dip and they had "

Reviewed Truffle Brownies

"My 6-year-old said, "These are better than a candy bar!" He was sooooo right! This is what you should take to any family gathering, bake sale, etc. They are very smooth and "truffly." Not classic brownie texture, so if that's what you're looking for, make something else. You have to try these, though! "

Reviewed Squash and Zucchini Cakes

"Delicous! Even from someone who's not much of a vegatable fan. I read the reviews, put my squash in a strainer while I was shredding it, blotted it with a paper towel, put it in a zip lock with a hole in it and squeezed. Then, I put it in the fridge while i was getting everything else together. I still felt like it was very wet, but I didn't s"

Reviewed Chicken Salad Veronique

"Just so you know, tarragon tastes like licorice! I liked it anyway, it was certainly easy. If you have tarrogon laying around, you could certainly whip it up quickly for an unexpected guest. I also have to say that my 2-year-old like it! Probably because of the grapes."

Reviewed Salted Caramel Ice Cream

"I had just bought a Cusinart ice cream maker at a garage sale for $10,so I stayed up making this dessert and it was worth it! First, if you don't have sea salt flakes, use about half of the salt that it calls for. I didn't pay attention and used regular sea salt and it was almost too salty. I followed the recipe to the "T" and didn't have as mu"

Reviewed Cheesy Popovers

"My whole family loves these, even my very picky husband! We both love Yorkshire Pudding and the texture of these reminds me of that. Don't expect a cakey texture or you will be shocked and disappointed. It's very eggy and moist. We love them!"

Reviewed Lime Shrimp Lettuce Wraps

"I guess I'm the only one dumb enough to try making these? Mine just tasted too citrusy. I was the only one in my family that forced it down. Maybe I did something wrong. I like most of Paula's recipies."

Reviewed Polvorones: Ground Walnut Cookies

"These are like the "Russian tea Cakes" my mother used to make. I LOVE them! I used a silver, traditional cookie sheet. Some of the cookies crumbled as other people have reported. The second batch, I cooked at 350 degrees for 20 minutes and they came out perfectly!! I also tried to make them smaller. Maybe her recipe assumes you are using a non-stick or dark cookie sheet.
