Reviewed nick and toni's penne alla vecchia bettola

I'm thinking that I should have added the liquid from the drained tomatoes which was not mentioned in the recipe. For those of you that have made this recipe, can you answer this question? The flavors...

Reviewed beef stroganoff over buttered noodles

Feb 22, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I used beef tenderloin in this recipe because it is what I had in the freezer. I cut back on the cooking time because of the cut of the meat. The sauce was of a soup-like consistency so I thickened with corn starch and beef broth. After this modification....perfect! I too added a bit more sour cream and Dijon. We found the addition of Dijon to...

I agree with other reviewers re the salt. I'm a "salt-a-holic" and given that, I thought less salt was in order. Next time, and yes, there will cetainly be a next time for this recipe, I will cut the salt by half. Other than the salt issue, this recipe is a keeper. Thanks Ina and others for their input."

OMG! This has to be best fruitcake EVER!!!! I did not give into temptation to sample before the "spritzing" of the "booze" had been completed. Sampling took place Xmas eve and it absolutely our breath away. This will be my go-to recipe forever and ever. Next year it will have to be more than just the one fruitcake. Alton has truly given us "f...
