My Activity

Reviewed Southwest Turkey Burgers

"My daughter recently made these burgers for my husband and I. We all agreed they were the best burgers we've ever had. Burgers is my favorite food! In all my 60 years no burger at home or eaten out even compares. They were moist, perfectly spicy and ever so scrumptious!"

Reviewed Emeril's Pot Roast

"My husband and I thought this roast very, very tender and tasty. I didn't have beef stock so substituted it with chicken. I also must admit I didn't add the parsnips or turnips, and used russet potatoes, celery, and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper. I added potatoes/veggies after 3 hours and cooked a total of about 4 hours."

Reviewed Herb and Garlic Roast Pork Loin with Honey Mustard Sauce

"This was really quite tasty. I didn't have any of the fresh spices, but I allotted the difference between fresh & dried, and it turned out great. I'm sure fresh could have been even better, but dried worked just fine. My husband also thought it great, which made it a hit in our house! I will cook again."

Reviewed Roasted Chicken with Vegetables

"My husband and I both enjoyed this recipe. I used lemon pepper in addition to the other ingredients. I omitted the non stick spray and put my chicken on a rack to keep it from sitting in its juices. The vegetables were also easy to fix, and very good. So nice having potatoes and veggies in one pan baking! Clean up was easy, and I was able to do ot""

Reviewed Zesty Pork Chops

"I thought these chops were really very good following the recipe exactly. The only pecante sauce I had on hand was 'hot'. Whew, were they spicy, not so hot that you couldn't eat them, but they definitely had a bite. Next time I cook them, I'll have 'medium' on hand.""

Reviewed Lemon Bars

"Quite tasty following the recipe exactly! Sweet and tang was fairly balanced, but since I like more tang, I might try with 1/4 cup less sugar next time, but then I also hate to mess with perfection. Set my timer for 15 minutes but needed the full 20, I'm high altitude (6200) and made no recipe changes.""

Reviewed Bread 'Em And Bake 'Em Pork Chops

"Something happened with the cook time, perhaps I had a different cut of pork chop than recipe called for, they were rather thick. I did assume bake time would need adjusting so after baking over 30 minutes in a 410 degree oven, I had to give up and brown in a fry pan (because my other dishes were ready). Other than bake time, loved it.""

Reviewed Onion Dip from Scratch

"Very Tasty! Upon making it initially, I thought of changing the recipe up a bit because I wasn't sure it had quite the taste I was looking for but decided to leave it alone and let it sit over night. So glad I did, because it was perfect exactly as recipe stated. Everyone loved it including my son, a Chef, who took a copy of the recipe.""
